How much does a workshop cost?
The Tuition Fee is $575 for the 3-day workshop.

What does the workshop tuition fee cover?

3 days of interactive learning about professional grant writing

  • A workbook containing instructor's presentation materials
  • A Certificate of Completion
  • Continental breakfast each morning - coffee, tea, and water throughout each day


  • What objectives are met by the curriculum?
    Participants will learn:

  • How to assess the fundability of proposals
  • How to find and analyze funders
  • The need for a relationship building strategy with potential funders
  • The elements of a proposal
  • How to package a proposal for submission
  • The significance of reporting to funders


  • Do I need to have experience to attend?
    No.  We address each of the essential elements of grant writing from a 101 perspective.

    If I have written grants before, will I find the workshop worthwhile?
    Yes.  Seasoned grant writers will take away tips for streamlining their techniques.

    Must I register in advance?
    Yes. Workshops are limited in size. 

    Must I pay In advance?
    Yes.  Please review the Registration link.  You can pay online with your credit card or mail us a check.

    What is the daily workshop schedule?
    Workshops run from 8:00am-4:00pm each day.  There are three breaks during the day:  a 20-minute mid-morning break, a 60-minute lunch break (lunch is not provided – recommendations for nearby eateries are), and a 20-minute mid-afternoon break.

    When will the workshop venue details be provided to me?
    Once you have registered, a Welcome Packet will be sent to you via e-mail.  It will include vnue details, preparation suggestions, a daily workshop agenda.

    If the workshop venue is unfamiliar to me, what logistical support will I be given?
    Once you have registered, hotel recommendations and driving directions will be sent to you.

    Will I have internet access at the workshop venue?
    The instructor always has internet connectivity so that he/she can show you some of the best online resources for grant writers.  For participants – this varies from venue to venue.    

    Can my organization host a workshop?
    Yes. If your organization can provide a facility that accommodates a minimum of 25 participants and a maximum of 40 participants, we would be pleased to work with you to bring a quality workshop to your community.

    What can you tell me about your instructors?
    Our instructors have knowledge and practical experience in the grant writing process as well as in teaching. They understand the needs of our workshop participants and they know how to effectively meet those needs. Click here to view instructor bios

    Will I get individualized attention during the workshop?
    Yes. At the conclusion of each day, instructors are available for individual consultations.
